Chantelle Wheeler, MACP., RCC
I’m passionate about helping people who are seeking real, lasting change—whether in their relationships or within themselves. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm, as well as with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in conflict, or are longing to reconnect. Many of the people I support come to therapy knowing something needs to shift, and they’re ready to begin that process with intention and care.

A unique and meaningful part of my practice includes nature-based therapy. For many, connecting with the natural world can offer a powerful sense of grounding, calm, and clarity. I’ve found this approach especially supportive for clients with ADHD and those on the autism spectrum, as the sensory and regulatory benefits of being in nature can promote focus, reduce stress, and provide a more embodied experience of therapy. Nature-based sessions can also foster a deeper connection to self and offer an alternative to traditional indoor spaces—whether that’s through mindful walks, outdoor reflection, or simply integrating nature metaphors and rhythms into our work.
As a counsellor, I bring a calm, grounded presence shaped not only by my training, but by my lived experience. I value honesty, curiosity, and deep compassion, and aim to create a space where clients feel truly seen, supported, and never judged. My role is to walk alongside you—whether you're navigating inner challenges or working to strengthen your most important relationships.
I work from a collaborative and integrative lens, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and the Gottman Method. For couples, I help partners identify and break unhelpful patterns, communicate more effectively, and rebuild trust and emotional intimacy. Together, we develop practical tools while also exploring the deeper dynamics that shape how you relate.
I know life can be overwhelming—and that many people carry a quiet sense of isolation as they try to keep going. My hope is to help you move beyond just surviving, and toward a fuller, more connected experience of life. You don’t have to do it alone.
